Carsten Pieper An instrumental album centered around Matt Stevens' acoustic guitar plus a few other instruments (and samples). Melodies, colours, moods, all there. Nice work! Favorite track: Lake Man.

Ed Buckley This is acoustic rock. It is also REALLY good. Another artist who loops himself, Stevens plays acoustic guitar and anything electric sounding is done via pedals. I heard a number of influences in this work, but it is not at all derivative. It is not "hard", although a bit of "Psychedelia" is scattered here and there. This is really quite good, and I recommend it for those who enjoy acoustic rock.

Julian Davies This was the track that introduced me to Matt Stevens, and it's still my favourite piece. Atmospheric... just a beautiful piece of music... Favorite track: Lake Man.

James Corachea One of my favourite Matt Stevens albums. Ghost sees a development from the rather Spanish sounding acoustic guitar looping of Echo to the more band-orientated progressive rock style that shows on later albums and is a good bridge between the two styles. Standout tracks for me include Big Sky, Burnt Out Car and Moondial but my favourite track has to be 8.19 with its explosive ending that ramps the song up several gears. Favorite track: 8.19.
